Don't hold your breathe for a straight answer from the folks "rehabilitaion leaning" folks

So the foot in Montreal has now been confirmed as a plastic one.

and how long did it take them to work that out?

Can't find the original explanation but this site http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...16111608/pg_3/ has this description:

"The skin on the hands and feet of a body will have a wrinkled "washerwoman" appearance if immersed for more than 1 or 2 hours. Investigators can obtain fingerprints from the intact or detached skin, which retains the same ridge pattern."

So hands and feet just eventually detach and sneakers make the feet float. Pretty gruesome but comfort can be gained from the probability of the owners of the feet being drowned, rather than chopped up by Magnotta.

I always had a strong view on the treatment of certain criminals and used to get into strong discussions about them. One day someone said to me (about the killers of Jamie Bulger) - ok you would have given the death penalty to these two 10 year olds, if you were asked to choose how they would die what method would you choose. And I realised that i couldnt choose. I mean it was of course hypothetical but i couldnt choose how two children would die.


Obviously Magnotta isnt a child and if he had killed my child I would hunt him down myself. I would not be able to kill him though, I just cant picture myself doing that act. I imagine that if it was the heat of the moment and he had killed my child I would, but afterwards.....

I'm with Tangram. If somebody harmed my family I would try my utmost to find them whatever the consequences. When I did actually find them, I know what I'd like to do, but doing it is a different thing but in the heat of the moment...

I think the plastic foot is the 'third' foot, not the one mailed a week or so ago.

The hand and foot mailed to the schools in Vancouver are that of Magnottas victim. Some sick plonker obviously hit the plastic foot as a joke

Now Magnottas defence lawyer in Berlin has stated that he is in his cell 23 hours a day as he is scared of being attacked by other inmates wait til he gets back here!
