I agree with Michael Portillo that Trident is a total waste of money and resources. Now don't get me started on that sodding aircraft carrier that was launched today. No planes to put on board it !

Polls - what a waste of time. If you believed the polls, the NDP would be running BC - they didn't even come close.

Obviously the only poll that matters is the one on 18 Sept. Certainly 35% is up on what the SNP election votes so on that basis they have made some progress during the campaign.

I just celebrated Canada Day with friends in BC,they have their own country and government ,they got rid of westminster a long time ago ,smart cookies.Myers is a canadian I think and its July 4th today how ironic Obama sticking his oar into the debate ,I wonder if he would make those comments today?
