Someone was banging about Salmond staying in a swanky hotel in USA (he is the First Minister).If he is bringing much needed jobs to Scotland why does it matter where he stays?

So of the 1,073 jobs "created" it looks like "up to 400 over 3 years" are at "Portfolio Recovery Associates" - which looks suspiciously like a debt consolidation/recovery business.

How many Scots, are city forward thinking people, how many are country earning from
or off the land forward thinking people, how many are in industry/production forward
thinking people, how many are from those groups count themselves as clever, but not forward thinking, how many really want to vote, how many want to vote with their head
and not the heart, and visa versa, how many care, but dont care how the vote goes and
will happily be content with both descisions, just like here will city rule over rural.
Will rich rule over the masses, will the Scots have sovereignty over themselves and
future.Will foreign business have to much clout and influence.?????

What do the Scots....... really want independence from. HISTORY, a dream, memories,
themselves, the past of 500, 250, 100, 50, years.Where they can forget their own clans and peoples sell out to blame the English.
To prepare for what they believe, is a future thats..." no matter what its at least a Scottish future"..???????

A good article but I dont think Alex Salmond had the world cup in mind when they were setting the date for the referendum ,more to do with the Commonwealth games.

The article has a very valid point....however it overlooks one basic requirement....England doing anthing worth cheering about in the world cup, i think they will be lucky to get through the first round.

So i dont think we have to worry about England soccer team being Salmond's secret weapon, although the guy is so clueless about anything else, maybe he was thinking along those lines. :confused:
