Leicester City eh,what do you think of Craig Levein,hes back at my team,Hearts.He was a player there for many yrs ,now hes the new football director.
I think there will be a good turnout but Im thinking it will be a close result.

sorry missed this one...

Craig, at the foxes, basically mixed emotions.IMO He didnt have the staff, or financial crack to make any inroads, or change the squad balance.
considered too low key by some.
His era, I was travelling too much, so I never could set up any opinions of my own,
but even now considered a descent bloke, but Hearts many felt is was always HIS.
Not a Championship, or PL fighter.Still a potential history maker for a top Scottish
club.

An article from the Daily Record on the big debate ;
Independence referendum debate: Undecided voters reveal how first TV showdown altered their opinions - Daily Record
I reckon Alex didnt do too bad if all 4 undecided are now voting YES and this from a paper which is slightly biased towards the NO mob.
I wasnt able to watch all the debate ,it wasnt very good from what I say,Salmond was abit silly at times and Darling was almost hysterical .

Salmond was not on the top of his game at all, and so it ended up pretty much a stalemate. Shite debate, I think any undecideds will be even more unsure after that.

I'm becoming resigned to defeat, and am absolutely sickened that we would blow this opportunity to leave the UK. Back off to Canada then...

True... I've been working in the north east recently and I get the impression that it's very pro-yes (perth, Angus, dundee, Aberdeen etc.). I've come to his conclusion just through talking to people and also the amount of pro-yes banners, stickers etc is great. It makes you optimistic but I'm pretty sure the central belt and the borders have a majority of people against independence.

Re: if the scots go, do you care?

In the event of a yes vote and no agreement on a sterling zone (absolutely not an option) then according to Salmond Scotland would continue to use the pound sterling. At present Scottish banks are allowed to print their own notes (unlike the English banks) which will have to stop after independence. So post independence Bank of England produced currency would be circulated in Scotland. That's independence eh......

Independent Scotland would use pound 'come what may', says Alex Salmond | Politics | The Guardian
