Minor detail, but they both seem to have on those wrist-bands that you get when you are in hospital!

yeah I guess nowadays, it would not be appropriate to find that funny anymore, even though Im sure if you met Lenny Henry he would do the impersonation even now without any hesitation.....funny guy. Those were the days before the offended bus used to do its rounds.

Seriously though, imagine sitting around a camp fire watching those guys play live.....that would take you to another planet! Its very chilled.

In California, I still can't find one retail outlet anywhere near where I live. The local (city/county) authorities are not on board at all.

I opened a couple of these, and they are incredibly expensive! No way am I paying those prices in Canadian dollars, let alone USD.

Most of these are either delivery only, or, too far from where I live (east bay). Contra Costa is my county, and I believe they currently have ZERO retail (walk-in) stores, with one walk-in store finally approved but in the city of Antioch, which is a 30 minute drive without traffic. I could drive to Oakland or Berkeley, which often means no parking and/or sketchy neighborhoods.

Looks like things are moving, slowly ... https://patch.com/california/martine...me-controversy

I am so sold on online shopping it isn't funny. Look up Haute Health and Get Kush, or some of the other stores reviewed on shaded.co. There has to be some equivalent in California. I could never get that sort of choice or price point from old school dealers.

Biggest complaints about pot I see most in BC are:

It's too expensive.
The quality is poor and the product is dry and stale.
Shipping is too expensive.

What I like best about the BC online store pot (and concentrate and edibles) is:
It's cheap like borscht.
The quality is top-notch and it's nice and fresh.
Free shipping! It may take a minimum order of $75 or $150 to get free shipping, vs paying $20 for Express Post.

Once I get 'going', I'm sure I'll be overjoyed with online shopping and delivery ... I'm already an Amazon Prime junkie . But it's been about 35 years since I smoked pot, and I want to explore ... I want to, quite literally, be a "kid in a candy store" and browse, discuss, take recommendations ... go home, try it, come back the next day and refine, etc etc. Once I'm all settled with a nice array of choices, I'll be happy to do the 'click, click, puff' thingy!
