Big money, big companies:

pot beer, pot coke, pot gatorade
I'm saying Red Bull without even reading about it.
"Corona maker Constellation Brands is plowing more than $4 billion into marijuana producer Canopy Growth to make cannabis based products, while Molson Coors Brewing's Canadian arm has said it will make cannabis-infused drinks with Hydropothecary Corp. The size of the Constellation investment, announced a month ago, sparked speculation of other buy outs, investments and partnerships in the industry, pushing Canadian marijuana stocks higher."We continue to expect to see more deals between Canadian cannabis companies and the larger players in the global alcohol market who have yet to gain exposure to the category," Cowen analyst Vivien Azer said.Azer said she would not be surprised by a similar move from Pepsi with "with CBD seemingly a good complement to their market share-leading Gatorade franchise."

Legal pot drinks, what a time to be alive. This is great news for those who don't like smoking the stuff. Personally I'm waiting for the edibles to be be legal.

Re: Cannabis
If I'd foreseen that back in the 70's people would have thought I was joking. However, my friend Ivan made marijuana wine with an ounce invested in each bottle back in '75..... and it packed a punch. After we all passed out at a back yard party that summer (July 23rd, a story in itself) the urchins came in out of the alley and stole all the booze still on the table, and I would have liked to see what happened to the kid that got the bottle and a half of marijuana wine.

Re: Cannabis
I am waiting for the increase in reports of people being denied entry to the US. Apparently USCBP will deny entry if they find one is working or investing in the pot biz or partaking in the use of it.

A quite prominent lawyer here in Ottawa is always pushing cannabis and cannabis growing on his Linkedin feed which I'm linked with (he is one guy I'm tempted to freeze) and he could be in for a shock.

Re: Cannabis
I have seen a few reports from out this way of folks being denied, there was one who simply invested in a pot company and was denied.
I am surprised Trump has not gone after pot stores and bussiness in states where its legal.
Big cash biz in the states where its legal banks that are federally regulated in the US are notnot keen on having pot biz accounts so cash is king.

Re: Cannabis
Saw this today - of course you need to be certified to work in a shop that sells the stuff now, it's Canada!
https://sellsafe.aglc.ca/Index.aspx?tabid=1
"Licensed retail cannabis store staff must have SellSafe certification prior to applying to AGLC to be a Qualified Cannabis Worker."
There's even a job board for work in the industry! http://marijuana.ca/Jobs/
