Saw what I thought would be a wonderful dish on ITV This Morning a Gino DaCampo recipe Agnello al Vino Rosso, we found all the ingredients in Auchan Taranto (and spent 50 euros), lamb shank etc etc. Just wanted to say as Craig Revel Horwood would say it was a Dis-as-ter, don't bother it was 'orrible.

I popped into the Lidl todaythey seem to be having a british week again. If anyone's interested they're selling apple sauce, sweet pickle , easy oats, frozen turkey and beef dinners , frozen roast potatoes and potatoe waffles. Didn't buy anything myself I was hoping they had shortbread biscuits , I bought a big box last time and they were just as good as walkers.

Well I managed to miss the cheddar again. Our Lidl only got one box, there was plenty of shortbread though. How about I go and get you some shortbread and you get me some cheddar?

Thanks Margeret. My Lidl in Verona had everything so I am now have apple sauce/vinegar crisps(well no, we had them with our aperitvo this evening)/cheese/shortbread biscuits etc. Didn't by any of the frozen foods because we where on the way to Turin.

Strange (not sure if it's happened) That one of us has not gone to the UK with a small van filled up and come back and sold the godies...."food for thought"
