I think it maybe because BEupdate seems to be showing many 'old' CSL visa grants and little movement in Feb CSL lodgements.

Cooler

from what i understand from reading up from the forums and my agent, it seems that processing had been definitely slowed down till further notice.

5. Normal 175.

At this point I believe they are busy with the CSL's, but they still process sponsored applications as they arrive. Once the CSL's are finished they'll start with the MODL's, but I doubt that will still happen in 2009.

If you're lower than MODL nobody knows how long you'll still have to wait.
Hi Pietie,

yup i understand the situation now but it's really frustrating.

Default How long is a piece of string??

Anyone got any ideas on a NT SS 176 Visa, how long between getting the SS and lodging the DIAC forms until our Visa is approved??

We are planning to leave in January and have set all dates for that, hoping we get it before obviously.

Hello Jimmi,
Out of all the states, NT is the toughest to get SS, in my opinion, Having said that there are many who did get. Average it takes about 8-16 weeks to grant SS.
then you have to lodge 176, again it might take between 3 to 12 months
for final visa grant,
So, If you have got NT SS yet , you January planning it out of the question,
but then again " miracle do happen"

All the best pal.

Jimmie already has SS from NT and if I recall, got it a while back...so I'd say January could be realistic, yes....

Good luck Jimme and keep us all posted
