Yey!!
Lot many cases, the CO will not update the on-line status..

It need not say "met" always!!!
Just check in the BE.. u can find many cases in which on-line status was not changed , but visa granted!!!

I'm not an agent, but I very much doubt they have stopped processing 176's.I think they have probably cleared the backlog of 176 applications, so they are paying attention to the CSL's now, but 176's will still be processed as they arrive. (At least I hope so, I received my ACT sponsorship earlier this week.)

So they are clearing the last year's 176 backlog? they did say that they need to finish 175 first then proceed to clear 176 right? please correct me if i am wrong.
I am a june 08 application, filed every doc upfront and had been waiting till now. I am just hoping that they will process faster. this wait is really screwing up my life. i am really beginning to dislike the Ruud govt now..
sorry for the rant.

1. Sponsored by an employer.
2. Sponsored by a state.
3. 175 on CSL
4. 175 on MODL
5. Normal 175.
At this point I believe they are busy with the CSL's, but they still process sponsored applications as they arrive. Once the CSL's are finished they'll start with the MODL's, but I doubt that will still happen in 2009.
If you're lower than MODL nobody knows how long you'll still have to wait.

and i think, if youre lower then CSL you will not be processed this Year!
I'm afraid not, ever since the economy took a nosedive the priority for application processing have changed:
1. Sponsored by an employer.
2. Sponsored by a state.
3. 175 on CSL
4. 175 on MODL
5. Normal 175.

176 is on top priority after Employer sponsored and follows CSL 175 and rest will be unknown at the moment as per DIAC
