i just seconded an honest question if theres a maximum time a CO can hold a case (i still believe this is a valid query).
looking at moneypenny20's post (based on her profile's post history), her FIRST POST for today was quoting me not to ask same question over again, not knowing that the thread was only moved from elsewhere. maybe this is just her way of telling other people who's the boss. a power trippin mod.

This is not really the first I have been at the end of moneypenny20's "not so nice" replies but I will try not to take it so personally in future.

It can be quite frustrating being told off in the manner she uses, especially when you express an opinion and SHE doesn't like it, or ask a question SHE doesn't think is relevant.....but hey her answer to that is to CLOSE the thread.....oh the power

Re: GSM 175 under CSL Processing Time
In response to a PLE, I have been informed about a week back that my file is with Case Officer for further processing and in case he needs any information, he will inform me. Employment check had already been done sometime around 15 days back. Does the file with the Case Officer mean that it is ripe for final decesion?

I would also request other members of the forum to give their views on the basis of their experience in this regards.

thanks to all who shares their timelines... nobody can really tell how long before a decision will be given but somehow you'll get an idea if you see others timeline. send a PLE if you feels you fall into the crack. having no agent in this process, we have to monitor and followup on our own. btw, got related answer on this older thread http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=609772 , at least other members (and mods) reply on the best of their knowledge and not try to be cynical about things.

Right can we please stop the bitchy and personal remarks. If anyone wishes to complain about a moderator or their actions, take it up with Admoin (Sue)
If people want to chat about life in Australia, go to the main Australia forum. If you want to chat about general topics, including the stress of Immigration, please use the Barbie, the Lounge, or The Take It Outside forum.
If you want to ask questions about Immigration, Visas or citizenship, this is the correct forum in which to do so. However it is NOT a timeline forum, nor is it a forum in which the eternal question of "HOW LONG WILL xxxxxx TAKE?" can be answered.
