Re: March 2009 Applicants
Hi all,
I sincerely hope to be the member of this group this month and I am working towards it.
I took my IELTS (8.0)in sep 08 and got positive EA assessment as a chemical engineer last month. Now i am in process of getting the employer reference letter from my manager in US. I belong to an HR country.
I have few queries :
- I have been assessed as a chemical engineer solely on the basis of the career episodes as workex of around 4.5 years is in IT sector as a programmer analyst which is on SOL. I am applying with a different nominated and SOL. Would it be a cause of trouble ? or what precautions do i need to take while applying.
- I am applying thru a consultant who is insisting on a paper based application. Is it that bad as compared to e-file.
- I am currently studying ..Quit my job on 1-jun-08. I would meet the requirement if I file the app by 31st may 09.What documentation would be required.
Consultant has been advising me but I thought I would take a second opinion.
Thanks in advance for your help..

Re: March 2009 Applicants
Hi Lou, I had EXACTLY the same problem, I was using Internet Explorer as my web browser and that appeared to be the problem. I was advised to download Mozilla Firefox and use it as my browser instead and once I'd done that it worked perfectly!!!

This is the link to download the web browser! It definitely worked for me, hope it does for you too!
Jen
(PS You dont need to remove internet explorer first, as both can run side by side on your computer! Keep me posted on whether this works for you or not!)

Re: March 2009 Applicants
I'm just working my way throuhg my documents to upload and it's asked for our marriage certificate and evidence of my change of name-will our marraige certificate suffice for the latter, so I only have to upload it once or do I need to uplaod it twice and put it under 2 catergories?
Also, what catergory would we put my husband's payslips under?
Many thanks

As for payslips, I uploaded them under "Proof of Work Experience" and uploaded my Job Description and Letter of Recommendation from my boss under "Proof of Specific work experience" I hope I did that right.
How many payslips should we be uploading?
