On 24th March i sent my Police clearance and Medicals. Nothing else was asked after that. However following is my status

From my sources DIAC has reached the end of the program year now. They are reorganizing the websites and their procedure and are waiting for the changes.
With a few exceptions, that's all for the 2009 - 2010 migration year.

I cannot give you a link or something... this is the info i know. You believe it or not, is your choice. Diac will probably come with a press release in the next couple of days regarding internal procedure and website changes.

Do you know if this will in anyway impact applications? Or is it more of a background change to have stuff like better IT systems and smoother operations to speed up the departments efficiency and transparency and all that stuff?

As far as i know, the changes are procedural and internal changes with the purpose to have better communications and greater efficiency.

I am Jan 2010 applicant and have already got pre grant and I know few people here who are Jan applicants getting visa. I dunno where u got that fact.

How long after you submitted medicals did you get your visa grant?
Were you asked anything additional after medicals?

I haven't got the grant coz I m onshore now . I have to be offshore to get the grant.I will leave for auckland nextweek.I was not asked any thing after medical.I got pre grant same day when my all docs got met status.I m electronics engineer . Dunt worry about the rumour that quota has finished coz I know few people getting PR from Jan 2010.
