Re: August 2009 Applicant
Hi supriyag123,
First of all congratulations on getting NSW SS this fast !
May i know if there are any obligations for this state like 2 years stay etc ? Is that a mandatory obligation I mean if sufficient reason is shown as to difficulty in getting a job etc, would they allow to move some other state ?
Congrats again....I assume in next 1 -2 months ( max ) you will get you 176 approved :-)
Thanks
Petroda..

In NSW application process there was nowhere this obligation mentioned, and even the sponsorship confirmation form that they have sent and asked me to sign, doesnt talk about obligation etc at all. It just asks some details about DIAC ref no, dependents etc.
However, I believe the 2-yrs obligation (more moral in nature than legal, what I gather from BE so far) thing is a more generic rule by DIAC,and some states enforce it strictly by getting the applicant to sign obligation clause etc, while some others dont. Fortunately, NSW apparently don't do it. Which makes me very comfortable in going forward with the sponsorship, and gives me all the more reasons why I should settle in Sydney

Re: August 2009 Applicant
My application is being processed further as of 25/09/09. I know it may mean nothing but I have never contacted the DIAC since my initial application. I am so excited to see a change in status. How sad am I?

Also, does your doc status say "required" or "received"

At least we know someone has actually looked at our applications now. Perhaps its something to do with prioritising the CSL.

Re: August 2009 Applicant
Hi everyone!
I lodged my 175 CSL (2231-79 Java) on Aug 31st.
I wasn't able to upload the documents and ended up sending them by email. I've already sent them 3 times, as the first two attempts got an answer stating that they couldn't open some of the attached files. Hope this time they get through.
In the mean time I sent a PLE asking for CSL priority because of the ACS assessment and they answered saying that since they hadn't got the assessment, they couldn't verify this but that as soon as I sent them all the documents they would verify them and assign the corresponding priority.
