My MD conveyed that he received a call for my Job verification, would like to know how does the process moves ahead from here ? this verification is carried out by CO or by back office staff ? any idea ?
Any Aug 2009 applicant received similar job verification call ?

No I have not approached for SS, I am on MODL+CSL/Network Security from HR (IND)

i recieved an attachment in which they supporting officer asked me for form 80 only on behalf of CO and CO name and region is also mentioned.

No DIAC doesnt let you know about the CO as such. But in my case, and most of the cases, they send you a 'request for additional info' letter, asking you to do medical and police clearance if you havent already done it. The letter also mentions the name of CO. So this clearly indiactes that one has been assigned a CO. In addition to that, I found all my docs (except medical and PCC) were 'Met' in online status link.

We lodged our visa app mid August and, I just logged on to the immi site to take a look and it says Applicaion logged - processing commenced. Im sure thr processing commenced was never there before, it just said application lodged. Does anyone know if this means it has started its long journey? Or am I clutching at straws!
