It was stuck on August 22nd because they update the date once a week, on a Wednesday. Today it said August 31st.

great news Victorfoxtrot, from what I've read I don't know about you it usually indicates there will be no probs with the 2nd stage only if they need a bit more info

Very pleased for you, flippin nerve rackng this lot we will be desperate to know by beginning of December when we're on our reece so if it speeds up it will be brilliant

Hi, we're a few days behind you ours was received on 26th September and we need it to speed up as we intend to go over January as we've sold our house and are ready to go. Also we are on a recce early December so it would be great to be able to sort out things then

Just received my passport request via email! I cant believe it! Just checked ECAS last night and my status hadnt changed from when i last looked but oh well doesnt matter now, aaaahhhhh!!
