Have you called them to check they actually have it?? I'm sure you have but imagine if it had just fallen off someone's desk?

Ouch.

I'm sure it will come through in the New Year for you.

Scott, had to back up and read the thread and must say that this is absurd. Someone must make a call to HRSDC NOW and ask what the heck is going on.

Thanks for the support guys. I have chased up my new boss, and he has chased up HRSDC, but all they keep doing is confirming that the application is in & will be looked at in a couple of weeks. They also keep reminding him of the huge backlog (as if we didn't already know!).

I think I've caught a bad time with the e-lmo's being fast-tracked ahead of mine.:curse:

Does anyone have the phone number handy for the LMO office for BC?
My friend submitted an application about 20 weeks ago and now his future Canadian employer want to chase it.

Can anyone help?

I also had sent the documents right before the e-LMO was introduced and it was a bad time...My HR manager called and faxed HRSDC, and even asked MP to call...but we haven't heard anything yet. It seems that all I can do is to wait.... *sigh* It's really hard to wait without pay and Alberta Health Care...I can't even go to the hospital.
