I wonder if the reason it lowers blood pressure is because they have less blood (hence less pressure?) my non medical mind at work....
Also, surely a better idea would be to have a blood donation drive instead, same idea, but then they actually get something beneficial and it might actually help save a life! :) |

One of the latest scams to break out in the UK is the mobile phone bolt on scam supposedly being run by O2. they call you from an 0800 number and give the impression they work for O2....I have had 3 calls in 3 days and each time i just put the phone down.But they are persistant and in some cases they will quote personal details to convince you they are O2.If you get a cold call from an 0800 number just answer and put the phone down, they are paying for it not you.DONT TALK TO THEM.

I was speaking to one of these benefit youngsters to-day, he just won't work, nothing wrong with him. He offered to fill in forms for me !!! told me I just had to know the system, he said he was ashamed of what he was getting compared to what us pensioners get. :banghead::banghead::angry_smile::angry_smile: Scroungers, the lot of them. |

A few years ago it came to light that a school in Portsmouth was actually teaching teenagers about how to get benefits....including single mother benefits................ ...............there was one slapper who used to plan to get pregnant every 2 years to the dot......not just for the benefits but because she was making a fortune by shoplifting and (quote) ..."If I has a kid under 5 it keeps me out of prison".................another equally brain challenged slapper from the same district once threw her baby at a store detective to avoid being caught for shoplifting..........and social services gave the child back to her !!!!! Hardly any wonder we have "Benefits Britain" ......... Dread - x |

Can I point out that not all single parents are as you describe - and neither are two parent families perfect. I am a single parent, was a home owner in the UK and a higher rate tax payer.
