Goa school rape: Headmistress arrested
20 Jan: IBNS. Goa police have hinted at more arrests in the brutal rape of a minor in the Vasco port town after formally arresting headmistress Sharlet Furtado for negligence of duty. Her arrest comes after sustained campaign from the victim’s parents and locals demanding immediate arrest of the rapist, who is yet to be found, and all those involved in the abetment including the headmistress who is also suspected to have destroyed forensic evidences… India no place for foreign women? 20 Jan: Times of India. … Local women have a tough time reporting a sexual offence, what chance do they have as foreigners? … At an even greater disadvantage are those women who don't come from the English-speaking world and, therefore, do not dare move an inch without help from their foreign offices www.goanvoice.org.uk |

Re: In To-day's Newspapers
Spain seems to moving in the right direction by first labeling migrants as Economic Migrants and demanding that they provide 5 years private medical insurance proof before they are allowed to register in their chosen areas. No state handouts in the form of Unemployment Benefit until they have paid into the system for 5 years too. All it would take in the UK is a simple change of rules back dated to when the person or persons first registered for Community Charge at their Town Hall......There would be queues at Victoria Coach Terminal for coaches back to Poland, Lithuania and Rumania with Bulgaria as the next stop..Hackney & Harringey would benefit as their schools and hospitals are seriously over loaded by unplanned immigration caused by New Labours attempts to buy votes in inner London local elections to keep the Conservatives out.Thank you Tony Blair and that Scottish idiot Gordon Brown nose......just a simple of change of rules that does not require a parliamentarian act.Could be done tomorrow if they wanted too but Cameron is a coward Noni
