Re: In To-day's Newspapers
I used to be confused as to why someone who consistently and repeatedly became involved in accusations of corruption, consistently and repeatedly was given government positions where he could be corrupt.
The only answer I could come up with, is the colour of his skin, negative discrimination in extremis, and par for the course in politically correct Britain. Maybe they should all be shipped here to Zimbabwe-on Sea to experience how the British are treated abroad? |
Re: In To-day's Newspapers
And then I remembered the very white Peter Mandelsson, enjoying corruption with Gay abandon.......................

Today's Herald
Another letter/article (copywright Herald Newspapers etc) that sounds like common sense:
Shunning foreigners Albizzati Giancarlo, Alto Porvorim With reference to the report in your business section titled ‘Goa: Running on Empty’ by Lionel Messias (Herald, 13 Mar), the author says, “The country (UAE) has no rich natural resources, yet it is doing well in many other areas...it is characterised by a positive attitude towards foreign travellers.†Maybe that’s the point lacking in India’s tourism efforts, particularly in Goa. It remains absolutely beyond my comprehension why foreigners are not allowed to retire in India. This is totally counterproductive, considering the large amounts of hard currency they could bring in to the Goan economy. Regards Hemingway |
Re: In To-day's Newspapers
hi everyone, the difference when we were in goa a few weeks ago to last season from the attitude of the goans towards the brits and the russians. i think the love affair with them, well actually there money, has finally come to and end.
i said several years ago that i didnt think the goans quite knew what they were taking on with the russians and vice versa. kat |
Re: In To-day's Newspapers
Its nice to see that Goa, specialist in shooting itself in the foot, is now getting some outside help?
