Seems to give a better insight of her life whilst in Goa. Although the killers remain free.

I can never understand how people cannot feed their children. They can smoke, drink alcohol and take drugs, but are too poor for food. :curse::curse:

I found this whilst looking for something else and wondered if you had all missed it. It is another tit for tat article from the Herald in reply to a letter that was in the paper the week before last re not coming back to Goa.

Re: In To-day's Newspapers

There have been cries of "Bring Back Douglas" for his uncanny ability to predict the financial future?

Well Douglas is my middle name, and I would like to make a prediction.........

I am pretty sure the bl**dy Rupee is starting to weaken all on its own!
Why? Well for the last few months it has followed the Pound/Dollar graph, but the last few days have shown a breakaway (copyright Eric Idle). A good one was today, our beloved £ weakened against the $ (and that Euro thing) but strengthened against the rupee.
So, the game might be up. For months the Indian Government have pretended the world recession will not affect this place, and crazily, the money markets seem to have been taken in? Maybe its because of the General Election announcement made today (mid April - mid May), whatever..........I think the crumble may have started.

Hi all

J "D"5 may be right !

Hop on the site below, go to "currency charts", then "pick your own pairings", type in " inr" if you track it for a month you can see an improvement, this morning it hit a 73 "high"

Warning ! the value of your investment cannot be guaranteed and may go up as well as down !

Sir Fred Goodwin :curse: ( and the Goan Gov)

Hi Andy thanks for posting this. I missed it this morning
.It is no doubt the best and most sensible article that has been published so far on the subjects of FNs purchasing property
I for one am going to write to the editor and tell him this.I have also in the past read the Editorial comments which have been completely the opposite to what he/she is saying here.
Could it be that there is going to be a change of heart in Goa for us poor unfortunates who have purchased in exactly the way this Editor has written. ???? I think who ever write this as been doing their home work.
Thanks again
GC:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

It's always puzzled me why you can't do that on Forums in general as it would be so useful, like when.............

You spend ages typing out a reply and then find someone has already answered in an identical vein. At least BE warns you to check!

You get angry and type & post something that you wish you hadn't, like my one a couple of weeks back about not wanting to have sex with my dog (not that I do, of course)

Like when you type a total load of b*ll*cks, and then have to hope nobody notices and queries it (perish the thought)

Of course, going back later and deleting could make all the subsequent posts look like a load of rubbish as they would appear to be replying to nothing, but with a time limit it might work?
