As well as older blurb re Notices Issued under Fema. To-days Herald page 4 says the breakdown 'country wise breakup of the persons to whom these notices have been issued, is British-8. Italian - 1 Swiss-1 and Russian-3' - |

"NEW DELHI (Re**ers) - India and the European Union should aim to sign a free trade pact by the end of this year to keep investment flowing and counter the global downturn, Britain's Business Secretary Peter Mandelson said on Monday.
"The EU and India should call the deal what it would be -- a confidence-building economic stimulus package -- and sign it before the end of this year," former EU trade commissioner Mandelson told a business conference." Perhaps if any of you drug takers out there fancy following this up ? This is disgusting we know this family and the lad that died.So much for British Justice.Manslaughter rubish this was murder and a racist attack on a young man who worked away 10 months of the year on ships to support his family I am ashamed what is happening to Britain
The family are broken hearted at the loss of their son. They said nothing will bring Gregory back So manslaughter or murder. It means nothing, our son is gone and nothing will bring him back or stop the emotional pain they go through daily GC:curse::curse::curse: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/h...re/7906444.stm |

Re: In To-day's Newspapers
I doubt very much it is a Brit who wrote it. The tone and perspective suggest an embittered Goan to me. Not a Brit moaning about his fellow countrymen. More like a taxi driver or restaurant owner who has not managed to fleece such people since they know well not not to pay exhorbitant prices. In other words such long term stayers cannot be conned easily, that is the root of this bitterness.
However it's interesting to note this anti British campaing has started up yet again. Seems to me it was around this time last year it got going too. Expect it has been prompted by the very negative publicity about Goa in generl which is generally in most reports you tread these days. It's the same with the "Opionated" column today too. Whoever wroe that is Embittered and with a big chip on the shoulder. |
