Yes, everyone has been going on about this, after clearly not having read the article.
The headline was very misleading, but the text only said bars restaurants and eating establishments were banned from selling tobacco products. By the way, does your forum name have anything to do with narrowboats? . |

I told you weeks ago the bubble would burst around Sir Jimmy Saville sooner or later and now its on television next Wednesday night. It was mentioned in yesterdays Evening Standard and today's Guardian. There are going to be some very red faces at the Honours Committee today because if i knew 40 years ago that Saville was a predatory paedophile, then others must have known too.It was common knowledge in Manchester where he did his Radio Luxembourg programe that Saville, "Liked em Young." I think the term then was Schoolies. But one of the ten women on the programe was only 10 years old at the time.

Goans most uncultured on roads
29 Sep: Herald. By Jose Maria Miranda. The title of this article should hurt every self- respecting Goan. But, it is with this very purpose in mind that I have consciously chosen it to impress upon us how much more hurt and pain we cause on others by the way we drive/ ride or park India: a beginner's guide: Goa 29 Sep: Daily Telegraph (UK). Charter flights started serving Goa in the late Eighties … Families called da Souza and Pereira rented out rooms in pretty cottages set in flower-filled gardens to backpackers … Today the beaches are crowded with salesmen from out of state, and there’s a rave every night fuelled by drink and drugs … There is a strong Russian presence in winter at five-star hotels… head for south Goa, to the quieter sands around Velsao, Majorda and Varca[/SIZE] www.goanvoice.org.uk |
