Re: In To-day's Newspapers
Gordon Ramseys red cook in curry sauce is in my humble opinion the best sauce i have ever tasted. And your right about Indian Restaurant and the quality of food served up by them here in the UK.Brick Lane here in London is now a tourist trap serving bland so-called fusion food, which means tasteless rubbish.Full of gee and yogurt to make it creamy and costing a fortune.Brick Lane used to be a place where you got cheep eatable food mostly from Bangladesh, now that the sons have taken over the businesses its gone up market and down the road to blandness and riches for them. Most of the tourists are from the USA, Italy and Germany so will eat any old C**p !

A real Masala sauce mix.We have neighbors from Sylhet in Bangladesh and some days i can hear the grinder chewing up the raw spices and the smell.WOW. There are some sauces that are OK but in general your right about the additives. In fact some have more additives than ingredients.

Doesn't this fly in the face of the facts over the last few years?

I'm sure on this but from what I can see Thomas Cook don't appear to be flying there next year? Could this be why Monarch are doubling up?
As for monarch, I can't see what's changed to be honest: Friday 4pm flight out of Manchester, then Thursday & Saturday flights from gatwick - exactly the same as last season I think. Regards H. |

Thomas Cook are certainly selling flights to goa from Manchester for the upcoming season - Sunday morning & Tuesday departures - whether they will pull the plug before the season starts, who can say.

Sorry H What I meant to say was I'm not sure about this. I just can't seem to get a price - when I put in my dates (and I've tried several variations) I get no flights available. I'll have to try again! Maybe they are fully booked all season.
I bet you couldn't get the price on Thomas cook's own website. Try www.charterflights.co.uk - you will definitely get Thomas cook, Thomson & monarch prices there. Regards H. |

Well I have only ever tried on the TC website. Why is that Hem that they wouldn't be on TC but elsewhere?
In previous years they have been on the TC website, but for some reason this year, they aren't there - a website/programming error maybe. The charterflights website quotes flight numbers & times. Some friends who have booked have had their TC invoice & more recently they've had details of a flight time change from TC, so I think its safe to say at the moment TC appear as though they intend to operate the flights next season.
