There was an article about this man in today's Telegraph magazine. If you are a millionaire I presume you can live anywhere!

Presumably as he is clearly working as an interior designer, he has a business visa that allows him to buy property, not get kicked out every six months, etc?

I do appreciate these subjects are actually related to Goa and therefore at a disadvantage, but surprised there has been no comment on the fatuous, but increasingly violent protests around parents being allowed to choose education in English for their kids (giving them an advantage when they move abroad to work), and of course the ridiculous "freedom fighters" are in the forefront...........

Then there's the priest in Canada changing his name from Newton Rodrigues to Niwton (???) Rodrigues to avoid India's laughable attempts to issue an arrest warrant abroad........

Z-o-S should have its own comedy show on the tv, a bit like you've been framed..................but its all true!

Idiots

Why fatuous? Private schools have taught in English medium throughout India. Not to be educated in English can put people at a disadvantage working elsewhere in India when there are so many languages. It has been said that English should be the national language rather than Hindi, as many in South India do not speak Hindi and resented the imposition of it.

Now I know why we get the weekend ogglers/scratchers on the Beaches in Goa - It's because they eat too much curry.

Apologies J5, had not read yesterdays account about the activists demonstration. I thought you were referring to the parents protests.

Gun shots rent air as tourists, locals clash in Baga
19 Jun: Times of India. Three tourists from Haryana were injured in a violent altercation with local residents who retaliated after one of them fired gun shots in the air at Baga on Saturday … They had stopped along the Baga bridge, taking photographs of some local residents who objected … One of the tourists pulled out his revolver and fired it in the air apparently to frighten the locals … they drove away but were ultimately caught by the locals and beaten

Hi, everyone:)
just doing my two months, spotted this in the 'Goan voice' from Sat.18th titled 'Get up and Goa' first look 'WOW' someone living the dream

http://www.casadaimagem.com/pdf_t/Re...a/index_5.html

First I want to say I have not read the article in the 'Telegraph Mag' only the link above, and good luck to Mr.Moltke.

With so many struggling on here what is Mr. Moltke's magic ingredient:unsure:
To me the article say's just give up the life in the UK. move to Goa.

Issues of visa, property registration, corruption seem to avoid this man and his family, if you would believe.

The strangest nudity bans in the world

21 Jun: Doing the rounds in a host of German magazine is a false report: The most bizarre nudity bans in the world … The bikini ban in the hippie paradise of Goa … Foreigners can cope with the ban on wearing bikinis when visiting temples but the hippie paradise will not allow them on the beach
