Letter in today's Herald,

James Moraes, Cuncolim
Now, Mickky Pacheco is being framed by the CBI. It is common in India to suppress people’s voices. It is clear that some Congressmen are all out to suppress Mickky Pacheco, but why?
Things turned bad from the day he commented on the drug nexus in Goa, and bad days have followed. Mickky may have committed some sins, but at least he was out to expose the drug nexus in Goa. Mickky-bab, fight till the end. You will be rewarded in the next election!:

Nothing to do with U.S. law then?

Lloyds executive quits over funds bungling

11 Sep. Economic Times. A senior banker at the Lloyds TSB has resigned following claims that millions of pounds were channelled to companies set up by a pair of young Indian men he befriended, a media report has said. The British executive, jointly responsible for more than 2,000 Lloyds employees in India, allegedly installed the two employees into well-paid posts in which they were 'effectively writing cheques to themselves...He lavished treats on several male employees, and posted in dozens of photographs with his arms around them. He also hosted a series of 'raucous' parties at his beach house in the resort of Goa.

It is there, just click on the e-paper link on the left hand side under the weather - 'opinion' is on page 9 - it's a fair wager that the author is a BE contributor.

Can't copy & paste a link as the e-paper "doesn't work like that" - just go to www.oheraldo.in & on the left hand side of the 'front page' just down from the top there is a brief summary of the weather in Panjim, directly underneath that it says "e-paper click here" - click on that, the e-paper opens up & all you need to do is "turn the pages' until you get to page 9 & the 'opinion' is there near the top of the page.
