I find it very interesting that the Acron developments are being advertised on a site which specifically states that they will only sell to PIO or NRI because they say a FN cannot purchase immovable property in India

Hi,
I couldn't find that bit - but I did find the page where it says:
Also a foreign national of non-Indian origin resident outside India cannot acquire any immovable property in India by way of purchase.
Note the correct inclusion of resident outside India

Yes but that just takes us back to the whole ......'how can an FN now legally achieve residency and register property?'

Erm...

Don't bother.

I've got my investment back from Acron and made £57.00 profit!!

Not as much as in a bank in Britain, but I thank my lucky stars and live to buy another day.

Won't rent in Goa now,I've seen North Cyprus on holiday, same lovely climate, cheap to live, great people,no shit in the street,no sewerage smells all day long.

Why did I think Goa was so beautiful????

Hi keith,

Nice to hear it all turned out ok for you in the end and i now share your views on goa. Its rather like being rejected by a beautiful but fickle woman who at the time you were madly in love with and then realising afterwards that you had a lucky escape.

Hi drpritar,

Welcome to the site, keegan palms owners have a website - groups.msn.com/keeganpalmsgoa

I suggest you read my post to dicky lewis that outlines the checks and balances you need to do when buying off plan in goa.

Hi Noni and all the other Acronites...

Yes,I have Wonga in da bank and will most definitely be coming to Goa at Christmas to buy all of you a load of Feni cocktails and other subtle Goan delights.

Meantime,I'm off to Northern Cyprus to sort my new apartment out there, same price as Goa but much less hassle and I OWN IT !!!!!!

Love to you all and see you at Christmas
