But i have spent all night scanning them in and sending them back and will post originals by super duper mail tomorrow. COME ON!!!

And have man flu for second time in a month! :( Must be the stress. ;)

Where are you all hiding. And who got my shark surf ski video on facebook? Real? Fake? Discuss!

I am not hiding - someone has locked me in a dark room with in a GCSE revision book and the case notes for my sister's divorce:thumbdown: As I have a visa and have not even booked flights yet methinks I should get out of other people's lives and spend some time in my own:o

Pony, letter must make it feel real now!! Will you beat me out?

How's things going with your move?

So, so sorry to hear about your Dad, Paul. That's a shocker and I'm sure his well-being is taking precedence over everything with you. My distractions (and subsequent lack of activity) pale into insignificance................

Take care of yourself too at this time. Though you must be really anxious, they are getting him in quick:thumbsup:

Sorry to the SW London loners about last weekend! Sharon, good luck with the move and Aqua, I'll have to wait to see your beautiful face I guess!!! Hope the tearaway's behaving himself.

I;m off to watch Ray Mear's thing in Oz, speak shortly Doc, as we're probably the only 2 saddos on here tonight.

You really can't stand me up and then try and get some sympathy out of us for being a saddo who's in watching the telly:eek:This behaviour shows a distinct lack of self-awareness;););)

Are you doing any positive thinking re. the labour agreement?? Reciting mantras and the like?? Might help.............:o:thumbsup:

Hi Roamer & hello again docgp, went to Geraldton for all of 2 days, but no further north - good luck.
I have a residents visa validated last Nov, but decision to go fairly soon is a sudden one. Stressor now is relating to house and what to do with it.
Sooo much going on in my head!!
Scanning this forum for other peoples experiences and to do lists. Any advice greatly appreciated. :)

Hi docgp and all..........my story?? Well, moved to Dubai in 2000 and worked as a lawyer out there. Soaring rents, construction, mad traffic etc. got too much, so decided to move back to the UK. Been back here a year now and just can't settle back in.

Was out in Oz December-February and loved it, so decided to give it a go. Perth is like the UK 30 years ago and so laid back. Will try Perth first of all, but may go somewhere else in WA - haven't really explored it that much. But that's half the fun isn't it!

We had a look around WA last year, mainly south of Perth down to Esperance. All lovely, spectacular coastline, but preferred Perth as there appeared more oomph more facilities with more to do. I guess its all down to whats suits individuals at the time.

Welcome ladies :)

Lets get this thread going again!!!

Reet, not done much since my meds accept check royal mail website to see if it has been sent. (which it has now)

Ive never been to Perth but have heard a few good things about it.

Cant really say what the one thing about WA that attracts me there, could be the shorter flying time compaired to QLD etc Thinking of me mam when she flies out ;)

Looks like i will be heading for Joondalup first to do futher training at a TAFE college then up north for gerladton i guess but we will see.

Ive found Google Earth extremly good for having a good look round the areas, any one else done this? Its cheaper than flying over there!:p

Ok, not else to say apart from im so bored from waiting!

Roll on 1st of July, lets see what happens then.

Take care you loners!:p:p

How are MT Pockets and Paul30 getting on with packing? I am finding it pretty tough chucking stuff out - I'm a wee bit sentimental:o

Well done on meds, doc!!

Hey. Sorry haven't logged on for a while - pretty hectic. Original plan to be there already put on 3 weeks hold as thought about time I passed my driving test. That's done now so all set to find myself a crappy surfmobile when I arrive and live the hippy dream (well, at weekends...).

Hope everyone's doing well? Aqua - yeah I crumbled badly on the packing too - just stuck it all in boxes to sift through when I'm settled. Rubbish at throwing things out.

Massively excited now - did get a little down at one stage at thought of leaving friends/family, but the london sun, devon surf combo has cheered me up - as that's sydney for about 300 days a year! Jay
