Cool,

When are you boarding the big silver bird (I'm sure there's a few gags in that statement) ?

I'll bring my stubby cooler

Might be a Perth thread. If not, start one and hope it doesn't die on its arse like my Sydney one!

 Yeah it is Oz for me. Just starting out - sheesh its gonna be a long 3 years!!! Just about to go back and start my 2nd year at uni and then will have to get a years experience under my belt. But it will be worth it in the end.

Had started this process a few years ago when I was married but things didnt work out and so its just me and my daughter now (my son has refused point blankly to come with me).

Oz is still biting at me so Im gonna go it alone - just trying to decide where I want to settle, have a few ideas, but in the 3 years it will take me Im sure I will have changed my mind hundreds of times - a womans prerogative you know :p

Huge congrats on finishishing your degree, Im going back having taken 2 years out to get myself sorted and used to being on my own etc etc so to say Im pooping my pants is an understatement

But like I said Oz is still biting at me so I have to just get on with it!!!

Do you have family in Perth? Is Perth your one and only choice?

When we were heading out as a family my ex hubby was 100% for Perth but now, after looking at other areas for the last few months, Im really not sure where I want to be.

Good luck with the masters :D

Nursing degree - just feels a bit weird as I started in 2005 and all the peeps I started with will be qualified as I start my 2nd year - but hey ho

Ive been looking all over really - Perth/Brisbane/Melbourne/Adelaide - who knows, I guess it depends on the visa I go for as well, my age will be against me as im 40 this year so I may well go sponsorship, especially as I am on my own and wont have a fortune to take with me either.

I live in Hampshire with my son and daughter so that will be a huge tug for me as he has refused flatly to go to Oz.
