They cant put wind turbines up big enough to power all of Japan. If they burn Coal its thirty trillion times worse than nuclear guaranteed (as opposed to Nuclear which is just a 'risk' ) they cant get all their power from Hydro electric and due to all the coal and shit that China is burning they cant have solar because the sun is blocked out by chinese smog.

One of the N's in NBN is no doubt for "nuclear" to show how Ginger pre-empted this and our government were ready for it and their "project panacea" will ensure we all come out of it moving forward far more resilient than before.

now you are using Americuns who think Sarah Palin can be queen as an example to support your hippy theory that Nuclear power is bad based on a factual document that just said "australia sells Uranium".

... Quote from today's Daily Mail... "government spokesman Yukio Edano admitted that dangerous levels of radioactive substances had been spilled into the atmosphere."
The word there is "dangerous".

I want to know how much we're not being told about this disgusting, unnecessary, man-made, disaster?
My observation is that our fearless PM is relatively voiceless whilst the man who should still be our PM is looking quite worried... and spending a lot of time trying to, diplomatically, extract the facts... despite the Japan government propaganda.
In my view, Australia is no better than a drug dealer with its continued mining and sale of uranium.
I am concerned the information in the attached link from the World Nuclear Association is true.

Who else shares my view that Australia's uranium mining policies are a major contributor to the nightmare millions of people are now enduring?

I do think that there is a lot of fear & confusion surrounding nuclear energy. The media loves to exploit fear & confusion. Particularly certain sections of the media.
