My ginger boy Gordon, ate 6 inches of elastic last night when he chewed it of an eye mask.
Quite pleased with his feast, he washed himself and Rema afterwards.
Now for the major worry.
Whilst his bloody stupid gut is trying to digest his food, if it cant digest the pissing piece of elastic, then it does what we call in the veterinary profession 'telescopes' on itself.
My little ginger bastard, will need surgery
And as I have lost one cat a few months ago, I cant lose old ginger bollox too.
So let us all pray that for his sake, he either vomits it all up or shits it all out.
Cos if I get home and hes ill, then its off to the vets for some serious surgery!

not helpful i know, but one of my kids swallowed a 3 inch ribbon about 3 or 4 months ago....thing is we didnt realise until it appeared in his poo!!!!!
ah, the joys of motherhood and cat-owning!!!
and just as irrelevant, when i was a student nurse back in the late 80's, one of my friends patients swallowed and inch of mercury thermometer!!!
hope Gordon is ok........my cats (god rest their souls, died 10 yrs ago aged 23 and 22!) were called charlie and bingo. good job i picked sensible names for my kids then........
