I'm fed up with the supposedly fit healthy people who can't walk up or down stairs and use the lifts at train stations which mean the real disabled people and mums with prams miss their trains as the lift is always in use!

I'm hearing you, I hate the fact that I have to resort to the lift in the busways at the moment, but my knees and feet ache so much that stairs just finish them off, plus if my asthma is having a bad day I want to save my breath as much as possible. Add the unpleasantness of 35 degrees and 80% humidity, lifts are a wonderful invention.

I have so many problems with that, going home so often - London tube escalators are all 'stand on the right', Brisbane is 'stand on the left' - always takes me a few days, and a lot of swearing, to adjust!!

The eldest has a girlfriend. The first serious one. I'd normally be chuffed for him however he told me he doesn't want to move to Australia now. She's very pretty and I think he's falling in teenage love....
