If you like those, have a look at what one company in the US produce, saw a programme about them on 'The Food Network' here in the UK so had to look at their site. On the programme I saw they made a Noahs Ark cake complete with lots of really detailed animals, a cake of an airplane for Delta airlines' and the runway was made of Godiva chocolates, and a subway train as a wedding cake, complete with grafitti, and even had 'Just Married' on the back with minitures of the couples dogs chasing after the train. I hate to think what the costs would have been.
I wanted to audition for season 2 of Great Australian Bakeoff but it looks like there won't be one

Dorothy they look AMAZING!
I love the GBBO! I had a go at one of their recipes, I did it for a party I was having at Christmas, I'm sure I have a photo somewhere. I'll try and find it, it doesn't look as good as yours but it tasted good.
I have to go now, the family are up ( lazy swines) but I'll find the picture this week and show you.

That sounds like a plan! I take it it will be in Perth? The patisserie?
OK this is my Dacquoise, unfortunately I didn't have a photo of it on it's own but I spotted it in the background on another photo and just zoomed in, so sorry for the poor quality of the photo, it looked better in real life ( honest!
) that's my mum just about to cut into it. It tasted absolutely delicious, have you ever tried it or made one? Here is the recipe I followed. It's yummy! http://thegreatbritishbakeoff.co.uk/...nut-dacquoise/

She has a great series on BBC2 at the moment, 'Mary Berry Cooks..' where she does menus for all occasions, tonight was for a crowd, but she has done afternoon tea, Sunday lunch etc. I love the way she just ignores her arthritis of her hand.

Thanks.
. You should give it a go, take a pic and show me if you do.I love Mary Berry too, she also reminds me of someone, my Gran.
She just has a lovely temperament and I love how glamorous she still is for her age. She just seems a right good sort, not to mention she can bake a mean cake!

I love afternoon tea,

Yeah, she doesn't let the arthritis stop her from doing what she loves. Good for her.

It's a brand new series, and she does all the cooking, except in the first one for the afternoon tea, where she is helped by her grandchidren.

Finally made an appointment to have my hair done.....and instead I have had to cancel it and now have to pay to have my eye checked for retinal detachment.
It has been 4 months since I last had my hair done....looks like the best thing would be just to shave my head instead.
Although I shouldn't grumble if my eyesight can be saved, I suppose.
But ***** think there is a conspiracy.

Did you know Caroline that there will be places where you can have your hair done for free in the cities?
When I was a student me and my mate use to go and get our hair done for free in the top salons in Manchester, they are always looking for models in the big cities, I bet it's the same in OZ. All ages, all hair types. In fact on my last visit to the hairdressers it cost me £79 and it's lot of money to spend every month, especially when I know I could get it done just as good for free.
Just google the name of your nearest city followed by free hair cut/colour.

My daughter and I are going to Comic Con this weekend but Shatner isn't coming to Perth.
