Actually, I've not seen a laundromat in Australia yet.
148 Bunda Street, Canberra. I love our nearest laundrette, it's about 50 metres from an awesome beach with a coffee shop in the middle. Perfect for duvet washing days!

But the Gold Coast is a bit of a crime hot spot isn't it? Hopefully your duvets won't get nicked while you're slurping coffee on the beach

Luckily I didn't need to.

I explained to the conductor what I had done. So he didn't clip my ticket.
When I arrived in Glasgow he got off the train with me and explained to another conductor what had happened, the other conductor then made sure I got on the right train to London

I won't be doing that again!

Grumble for today

You want a long lie in on Sunday, but your body clock decides it's time to get up because it thinks you should be at work!

Now that's annoying.

My body clock wakes me up earlier because I have a day full of leisure to look forward to rather than a day full of work.

.... and litter the roads. I've never seen such filth as there is by the sides of the NSW highways. Not to mention the times I've been almost hit by the garbage being thrown from the car in front - usually smoking materials and packaging.

We get that too. Equally annoying is where you go to nature reserves and people dump their KFC or Maccas rubbish out the car door - even more so when the reserve management has provided dustbins.

Another grumble...why do the bats pick on the kitchen window?? Got up this morning to find a fresh splat right in front of my face as I opened the roller blind. All stuck to the flyscreen- so I've been cleaning that up instead of having breakfast. If you let it dry it is murder to get out of the screen mesh.

And it's evil twin: the weekday - when your alarm clock goes off and you despairingly think "Nooooo!!!!" as you reach over and bash that alarm-off button

Power cut in our area last night, I awoke to the alarm flashing 00:00 again. The battery back up must be flat again
