I've had a lovely day of nothing in particular-ness so far! Just been going through a box of all the random pictures youngSOB has drawn for me over the years and the little notes she writes me. She has been giggling away at some of her more interesting spellings from days gone by "Hape Bufde Mum" being a classic. She didn't know that I keep them all

It made room nicely for 4 large eggs scrambled with a pile of bacon, cheese and spinach topped with some home-grown chilli.

Frantic cleaning ahead of guests tomorrow. The whole house looks like a chinese laundry as I'm frantically trying to get everything washed, dried and ironed. It's all steamy! Also have made baked cheesecake and talked to a builder- got the kitchen guy coming in a few mins, and then back to preparing. At least I'm going out tonight for a drink with friends- first time since coming here that I'll have gone to a wine bar. I'll probably be the one asleep in the corner, as I slept very badly last night, getting 4 hours in total.

I rest my case.
Thanks to big pharma for making Augmentin Duo, Panadol and oxy-contin. I got to come home today with only one attachment left. Loads of holes where drains and IVs had been but at least I'm on the mend. The old man even looked up a recipe online to make me dinner.
