But go further east and you'll get lots of pork, eg Singapore, China (or any other meat!)

They've got lovely suntans! I'm confused about how a percentage of us end up with different coloured eyes, different coloured skin, hair etc???????

A very simple and obvious argument for evolution - oh well. Also Adam seems to have had his hair and beard barbered - who was this mysterious first Vidal Sassoon?

short hand for the first bit:-

God created the earth the fish light etc and had a rest on Sunday

He made Eden and Adam and eve, the ONLY 2 humans on the earth

After a bit of rumpy Eve gave birth in agony because she eat the apple to
Cain and Able, 2 brothers (both boys) No other children.....

THEN Genesis Chapter 7...

"Cain and his wife had a son and named him Enoch"

ALSO Genesis Chapter 4 Verse 15....

(God speaking to the cast out Cain)

"But the Lord Answered, No, If anyone kills you seven lives will be taken in revenge"

The book is just full of rubbish, Where did all the other people come from, where did the wife of Cain come from. As for killing 7 in revenge, didn't he go on to say "Thou shalt not kill". Lead by example I say.....

Here endeth the reading, Life in Oz is so interesting I'm reading the bible for entertainment!
They were v sexist in them days and didn't feel it necessary to annonce the birth of women... shocking I know, but it's not the only book that does it.

It's just in the genes. You inherit particular traits from your parents. Some are dominant, and some are recessive. The dominant ones are more common - like brown eyes, so they 'over rule' the the recessive ones.

You inherit one colour instruction from one parent, and the other from another. It's the way that the species maintains variation, which is why we all look different, despite being of the same species. That's why it is important to breed liberally, so that there is a a good cross mixing of genes. If you breed within a small community, then the genes start to be defective, and you end up like the royal family, or people from Portland.

I thought the latest line of thought on this from genetic scientists was that smaller gene pools made little difference to genetic birth defects. I seem to remember KC having a lot to say on the subject when it came up a while ago.
From memory it concluded that the old wifes tale of marrying within the family caused genetic defects was false.
I could be wrong I must go & do a bit of googling..............ah the joys of being to sick to work today

I've not heard of that. I know that it means that eventually you just end up with pretty much the same genes being perpetuated through the population though.

And any potential genetic defect will then carry on being propagated, instead of being selected out by new, dominant genes.

It was a pretty shocking video, if true we are all buggered. The 9/11 bit I found fascinating, the close up of the angle cut steel girder proving it was a demolition job seemed pretty conclusive to me. The bit about the number 7 building collapsing was also a bit of an eye opener, exactly why did it collapse? Then the wreckage shots of the plane that missed, where was all the wreckage? Same for the Pentagon hit, where was the plane? How did it fly through all those lamp posts without hitting any?

A must watch for everyone I think, then we can have another thread to discuss it.

Was it from the shock wave created by the large towers falling.

It is a must watch isnt it. Its actually not hard to believe either, we're definately up the creek if its true for sure.
Whole thing was good but the 9/11 part was really fascinating & very scary.
Those points struck me too, among many others - the girder - that definately looked like the oxy-acetylene had been at that for sure. And the thermite found, even under buidling 7. The molten metal found weeks later, under building 7 (expainable by the thermite). The explosions everyone heard seconds prior to the hit too were scary. Also the way the towers fell, not leaving the core which it was designed to withstand, more like a controlled explosion where they blew the central core, the same as building 7. What about the fact they were doing 'practise' that day to. And the literal cover up at the pentagon with all the dirt.
I could go on. I'm going to watch it again. Its really scary.
And the similarity between the start of all the wars, this being the latest in a well used & successful formula.
That all that info isnt out and about - says alot in itself.
Nearly pm'd you after watching it Arkon as I wanted to chat to someone about it
Ps Whats myan blue???
