A good day for Aus, made the most of the conditions, some shocking umpiring decisions all round. They should make a pile then we'll see how England bat under pressure.

A couple of big first innings will make the last couple of days interesting.

It's kind of funny that this is the first time the aussie batting hasn't collapsed - and all they can talk about is bad umpiring decisions. 303 for 2 vs 303 for 3 really doesn't make a difference in the essentials.

It's what I mean about they expect success and bemoan failure - if it had been England and the English in this position a few years back, we'd have been dancing in the streets that the batting hadn't stuffed up again.
