Good start for England, time to push home the advantage against this much heralded 'world class strike attack'. Pitch will only get worse. Happy days.
Listen to cricket, play cricket (last game of the season, a chance for a finals berth if we win, weather on Sunday looks spectacular) and then watch the F1 for me.

Just about to head out to the airport to catch a flight to europe so will miss day 2, but the boys are looking good and will hopefully push on and set a formidable total.
Incredible sporting weekend and i hope to be in the right time zone to see the final outcome. Wiggo looks to be home and dry, The Open is still to early to see any clear favourites although Rory is in a good spot and the Test is going well at the moment. It would be a fantastic lead in to the Olympics if we could clinch all 3

What a turnaround two years Chef has had! He went into that Ashes series V Aus under a selection cloud, came out the other end with 800 odd runs in the series and has never looked back! His average went from 42 to a shade under 50 in under two years.
The scary thing about him is that he is only 27 and you would think has a minimum of 6 years left in him, possibly another 6 again if he goes on as long as Ponting, Sachin and Kallis. He's already at 6500 runs after his first 6 years! God knows what he could end up on by the end of his career

He does look faintly ridiculous in the helmet though.

Ah, quick off the mark after a decent day and nowhere to be seen after a bad one ... Nice to see you are true to form.
No, that's just the way he looks
Day 3 looks to be pivotal in a short series ..
