I concur. The washout yesterday has made that the most likely outcome.

This game has draw written all over it.

We batted on too long yesterday. Pointless.

Full credit to Clarke & Cowan, they are batting like troopers right now.

Cowan: 122. Clarke: 100.

4 for 306. Cowan got sloppy backing up.

Such a shame about the rain on day 2. Some good performances on both sides which unfortunately won't lead to a result. Probably.

I'm not sure that would have made a difference. Kevin Mitchell Jnr needs to get a rocket up his proverbial for producing such a terrible wicket! This match is almost identical to the Ashes test a few years back, it has no life in it whatsoever!

Cool Re: The Cricket Thread (...and other sport)

I love the way Hussey just launches straight into it, no hesitation whatsoever.

Crikey, look at all those extras. Mokbel won't be popular in the locker room tonight.

Clarke has his double ton. Hussey coming up for 100.

All of a sudden South Africa's first innings effort doesn't look quite so impressive.

Credit where it is due. I like Hussey.

The pitch is rubbish though.

At least it might be worth watching tomorrow.

Neither side can win from here, so we might as well stay in and get some decent batting practice.
