Changing the subject slightly, if one is sneakily feeding one's friends dog on onion & garlic flavoued crackers, because one's friend is asleep, ho many crackers should one feed said dog, bearing in mind it will be breathing on said friend in the morning?

Dog has eaten half the packet and snuck off to friends bedroom..........I shall go to bed quick before friend realises small dog now smells like large onion 
Winder if I can convince her in the morning that the dog helped itself to the crackers? Apparently (being only Jack Russell size) dog usually cuddles up to her in bed ----oooooops!!!
