I am however a realist and can see the faults and problems.

There were good and bad things during the British involvement in India. Mike Davis has a political viewpoint that blurs him to reality. He does not, for instance, consider the scenarios that could or would have occurred if the British were not involved.

Colonisation by Russia would have had FAR worse impacts that that by Britain. Davis completely overlooks this highly likely possibility.

India is a fine country, and Indians are fine people. I have worked with, and I am personal friends to some excellent Indians.

Notwithstanding this, India as a nation needs to look to its own people before it looks at nuclear weapon development and a space race.

It is NOT Britain’s responsibility to feed the poor of India.

No way Amandeep is good entertainment value, like you cant take the man serious. Some of his claims are laughable at best.
