A good few years ago The Netherlands brought in 200 nurses from Ghana. I can Imagine the negative impact that must have resulted on the Ghanian health system but also the gain(although one assumes they didn't speak the language) to a rich nation such as Holland.
Malaysia used to have a system that the graduates from that nation must work so many years in that country or else pat the cost of their education to government, before taking valued skills abroad in order to make far greater money.
Have noticed a place called Silver Trowl, where they train up Brickies here in Perth, out in the Eastern burbs, with the great majority of students coming from the developing world.
Have no idea what that is about or who pays these guys to study.
Surely they can't be all refugees? I did think of that of a number had North Asian appearance so ruled that out.
Can't figure out why Asians would pay that money to learn a trade in Perth though.

Let some one else pay to train then poach them when economically active. This is an issue with a number of developing world countries.
