I do really wish you the very best of luck though.

As for the people abusing me. It's clear that you are retarded clowns with every trained apprentice costing taxpayers costing tens of thousands of dollars each apprentice...get a grip.

you may be right, you may be wrong but I also think this isnt the place. a guy is struggling, just venting to say hes struggling. add support, add constructive words but open another thread if you cant.

its interesting David reading this - I too remember your very early posts and you got a right slamming - I am amazed you still come on here but you have come a long way. good luck with it all - you are nohting if not persistent

Hi David, not read your previous posts so don't know your history, but just wanted to wish you and your family GOOD LUCK on your endeavour in achieving a happy and sustainable life in Australia.

You enquired about Perth - there are 2 websites I have used in the past to search for apprenticeship vacancies:-
http://apprenticentre.det.wa.edu.au/vacancies
http://jobsearch.gov.au/findajob/
..... hope they work. Not sure if that would be of any help to you though?

Anyway don't be discouraged by some in posting on here. There are some genuinely helpful people on here, as well as the ones who appear to lack empathy and real life experience.

Something will turn up, it always does, it's just not always the way we had planned. Try to stay positive and focused.

Good luck

It's good that employers seem to be doing the right thing.
Can't argue with the logic, maybe the OP is in need of some touchyfeely words but good luck with that on a public forum ... Make a commitment to the country then expect some slack.

Jesus H, can people not just cut the OP some slack??

I hope the smart arses who can't resist any opportunity to tell people to harden up and make remarks about touchy feely comments never come across hard times where they might need a supportive word and some positive vibes. Karma is a bitch...

What are they thinking.

I need a bloody job soooooooooo bad i do not want to have to go back to the hell hole of the UK every job i apply for i get a reply saying there only looking for Australian citezens. i have 1 year left on my apprenticeship which i couldnt finish in the UK because i lost my job like everyone else their. I cant finish it here because im not an Australian citezen. I have spoken to everyone i can think of and said let me pay for it myself please i just wana finish it so i can work to support my familly. no luck anywhere. sometimes i wonder what the hell are we going to do next. when will we get a break.

Please dont abuse me because my spelling is wrong or you dont like what im saying. i just needed to vent somewhere.

Have you got PR?

If you are not restricted and can work anywhere, it might be worth trying to get some manual/building (as in helping on a site) work perhaps? I thought if you were PR you could do an apprenticeship

Might be worth getting someone to revamp your resume and consider something else you may be able to do. Sometimes you just need a job to get a job so if you got something, then better things come along.

Dont give up, nice things happen when you least expect them to.

There's a post on his visa status earlier on. I think he's on a bridging one and doesn't have PR.

Yeah he came a few years back on a student visa, I remember the original posts - must now have moved onto to a Bridging Visa. Tough way to do it, but having lasted this long I hope they manage to work things out

Come on guys it's not nice to put him down while he is going through a rough time just now, look at his ID he's around 22 years old and has a lot of responsebilty on his shoulder right now, he isn't asking for hand out that some of u got ur knickers in the twist he just wanted some supports during his hard time he is going through.
I have met David & his wife couple of times, he is a hard working lovely young man & he is trying to provide for his family, he is just hard on his luck, I hope you can get something sorted soon & if you still like to eat nandos just go to the coles deli where they do their own roast chickens they also sell them as quarters too it works out around $1:80 To $2.00 my son gets as he is on thight budget too, then put nandos sauce on it. Congrats on the new arrival.

Many students find life tough and even consider to be over life itself..
