Interesting, I think people are prepared to pay more for quality food nowadays. That seemed expensive to me but good to know it is about the going rate down your way.

I agree, just like to know its homemade rather than in some factory. Just out of interest what would you pay for a good sourdough boule or baguette? They seem to sell for around $5 or $6 around here.

The best bakeries use natural spring water which hasn't been kept in BPA leeching plastic bottles so with organic flour you can't get much more natural than this than organic veg of course. Anyway...

A real sour dough starter literally only starts with flour and water but takes wild yeast from the air. This is why a SF made starter would give a different flavour to a NY starter. Don't get me...

Yep agree, would love to check out the Napa and Sonoma region. Wish we could afford one of the stunning vineyards there but think France would be more our budget for that route!! I agree...

Sporty Chico. That's not the case at all, we are lucky to be in a good financial position where we could keep our UK home and the one here in Palm Beach and still relocate to CA.

Yep Palm Beach is nice, we find there is always something to do here and you are not so cut off as Naples. I like Naples but just found it a little too quiet for us. We like being near to Miami as...
