.... the end of August rolls around and you chat semi-knowledgeably with your neighbor about the coming (gridiron) football season. (Like I did this evening. ... In my case you don't need to know much to know that for the local team the season is going to be filled with disappointment and frustration, there'll be no post season, and there's a strong possibility that the coach will be fired! )

Two games into the season, with a 0-2 record, and apparently little optimism for the next six opponents/ games, the replacement of the head coach is already being discussed. Maybe I should investigate becoming a semi-professional "football" pundit?
