Must be just me then....with electric toothbrushes all round and electric water picks for those with braces, finding a socket for a hairdryer or epilator can be a challenge round here. The tangle of cords and plugs on the bathroom counter annoys me no end and I'm seriously considering having more electrical outlets installed in the bathrooms. I was so happy to have a socket in the bathroom at all when we moved here, I can't believe that I'm actually complaining about having too few!

You know you've been in the US too long when...you can hear or see the phrase "on the job" without succumbing to a fit of giggles. Probably too many "Carry On.." films when I was growing up.

I think it was the one previous to Carry On Columbus, Carry On Emanuelle in 1978, that should not have been made, it apparently (more or less) killed the series, and was a PR disaster when it was given an AA certificate.
