Duallys are for people who need to place a load weighing up to a ton in the bed of a truck, while hauling a trailer containing a dozen bison. The two extra wheels increase the load capacity of the truck. There aren't that many around, even in Texas, and I've never seen a gun rack in one! In fact, I've never seen a gun rack in any truck.

I've seen and indeed been in a "Dually", but I didn't know they had their own slang term.

The manager of our Houston office had one, and he had many guns, but he did not have a gun rack on his Dually.

Stacy: Well, don't you want to open your present?
Wayne Campbell: If it's a severed head I'm going to be very upset
Stacy: Open it.
Wayne Campbell: What is it?
Stacy: It's a gun rack.
Wayne Campbell: A gun rack... a gun rack. I don't even own *a* gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack. What am I gonna do... with a gun rack?
Stacy: You don't like it? Fine. You know Wayne, if you're not careful, you're going to lose me.
Wayne Campbell: I lost you 2 months ago. We broke up. Are you mental? Get the net!

Theres hundreds of them round here. Often seen with a camo ATV in the back. Both truck and ATV have gunracks. But then I do live on the edge of Ocala National Forest these days. Very good hunting grounds.

They are still fairly rare around these parts.....Generally owned by hauling companies and ranchers.

If I had realised how friendly she was apparently capable of being I might have paid more attention at the time. Hindsight is such a pain in the tush.

Must be some wealthy rednecks. Duallys are expensive to buy, and expensive to maintain. Especially the 4x4s.
