yeah, I thought it was agreed by them both that he'd acted like a mid-life crisis twathead, and they were going to carry on.

But the closing scene showed their relationship was still very fragile...they seemed very uncomfortable with each other.

Even though I've seen the film many times I still can't help feeling her feeling of disappointment when she realises she's not getting the necklace.

Love that movie, watched it the other night for about the 30th time
Our local British expats are going to a special screening in about a week! I hadn't realised this film had become a new "Christmas classic."

That whole bit in Love Actually reminds me of a book by Elizabeth Buchan AND the sequel to it. Revenge of the Middle Aged Woman and Wives Behaving Badly.

I am only five years late, but tonight I watched the whole of North And South and now am absolutely besotted with Richard Armitage. I'm already a Spooks devotee, and now will go back and watch Robin Hood and everything else RA has been in.

My mother called and interrupted my viewing to tell me _Hot Fuzz_ was on the Comedy Channel and she was watching it for the first time. She won't get all of the jokes (the pride over Village Of The Year and why hoodies aren't welcome there). I told her I'd walked some of those streets in Wells and she said "I've always wanted to go to Wales." Nooo..... I spelled it out for her (w-e-l-l-s).

And my Dutch is going to come in handy! http://www.richardarmitage.nl/

Richard Armitage is going to be in a new show next year called 'Strike Back' based on a Chris Ryan Novel and will be shown in April 2010. It looks pretty good.

Just watched the latest Flash Forward. Now it's off until the Spring. What is that all about? There's only been about 8 episodes.
Anyway time for Biggest Loser finale now.

Yeah, that's annoying, as is their habit of putting repeats in the middle of a first run (yes USA, I'm looking at you re NCIS and NCIS LA).

But what about the surprise twist at the end of this (half) run of White Collar?

At least with the new ones I can understand it as they don't film all the episodes so if its not doing so well they can bin it off after 8 episodes and not have all the production costs. It really annoys me with established series' though. Desperate Housewives is on and off like a pair of knickers, theres really no excuse.

I actually miss being in the UK and getting things 3 months late now, at least we get a full run at the series.

Sorry.

At least I didn't say what it was.
