I had mentioned it earlier this week, but it finished last night and it really WAS something- WWII in HD on the History Channel. We don't have an HD tv, but they had clips that had never seen the light of day, were not censored and really amazing, AND VERY graphic. They followed 12 Americans through the war, 11 men and one woman in both the European and Pacific theatre. Several were reporters/writers, a nurse, an airman in England, a Tuskegee airman, a Viennese Jew who had escaped and come to the US to fight the Nazis, a Japanese American (his parents were interned in a camp here and just some average folks-you know those typical Americans that had never been abroad before...........
The greatest generation.

That's what I look like when we watch Love Actually...can't resist getting up and dancing along with Hugh Grant. I think my daughter's boyfriend thinks I'm a little strange...he's seen nothing yet...he's spending Christmas with us.

I saw Steven Seagal on Lawman last night. It's just like every other cop show, just with Steven Seagal rambling on about Zen this and Zen that.
There will be a lot of comedy skits based on Lawman, I guarantee it.

ABC Family showed all the Pixar shorts lastnight...I've never seen my daughter sit so still and be so enamoured by anything in my life...I'm so glad I dvr'ed it
She didn't like the cars skits all that much, but the bunny in the magic show one and the lamb were her particular favourites.
Also finally catching up with Flashforward and about the half way point it suddenly got really quite gripping and I'm suddenly really enjoying it.

The last time you see them is in the closing seen at Heathrow Airport. He's just got off a plane and is greeted by her and the kids. The kids seem happier to see him that she does.
