It would probably make sense but not really acceptable in UK/US. Why do old men in the UK start carrying little canvas bags around?

That was pants. A less fun version of Burn Notice (which doesn't take itself as seriously).

And the first episode involved killing a banker, but the guy saved him... that's not going to keep the ratings up in the current climate!

I disagree. It's a very flawed interpretation of the comic book, granted, but I still found it a fun show. The trick is to focus on Guerra, who provides the necessary comedic relief.

I wasn't even paying attention after 5 minutes, I have no idea who Guerra is!
