The original 1970s version is pretty good, much more grim than the new version, although the story gets worse as it goes on.
Season 1 of the new version wasn't amazing but it had some good bits. The second season has been very good so far, although I've read mixed reviews.

I have not watched 24 at all either
You have to see American picking and Pawnstars ..for the antiques
both on the History channel

The Good Wife didn't start last month...although this is the first series it's been showing since the end of September. So far I like it.

Never watched American Idol or 24 either.
One day I will watch 24 on dvd. I have a huge list of shows I missed when originally aired that i want to watch on dvd one day - The West Wing, Deadwood, 24, The Wire, and tons more.
The first series of 24 is the best IMO...I watched the whole series on DVD. Same with all the Deadwood series...I really enjoyed them.

So anyone watching Caprica?

Human Target is turning out to be a bit more meh, but the side kicks are still fairly amusing, I'll probably watch it till it gets canned.

White Collar is back and I'm still liking it, still very cheesy though.

The missus finally gave up on Secret Life of a American Teenager....thankfully, as it just got annoying.

La La Land is still on the DVR, anyone else catch it?

The first 2 episodes of Caprica were shown this week in the UK. I think it was on Sky 1? I did watch it. I wouldn't know what channel because I am female and therefore do not get to actually choose which channel I watch, nor am I under any circumstances allowed to touch the remote control.

I though it was pretty good. I loved Battlestar Galactica, so I am glad the same type of thing is back.

Past Life

Just saw the first episode...sounded interesting, about investigations into old crimes when someone "sees" a past life.

Shame it was really boring and a bit shit though.

Wonder if it'll warm up and get better, but I don't think I can be arsed to give it more of a chance.

The ex-detective chap is from Swindon. What is it with US telly shows not casting US actors, especially the male leads?

And the second episode was still pretty shit...i've already got the third episode, but I'm not holding much hope

So V is returning, anyone going to bother with that again? How about Flash Forward?

I think that lost momentum with the break, I was all up for it at the time and really thought it started to get good, now I can't really remember much of the characters and a lot of the build up is completely lost.
